iPhone Clone CECT Manual
Phew! The manual to this phone was hard to find.
After a lot of searching I finally tracked down a manual for the P198 CECT iPhone clone, but it wasn't in English. I did a rough translation and came up with the following information, which could come in useful if you have one of these phones and a non-English manual (n.b. my translation skills are somewhat limited, so please don't take any of this as hard fact, and don't blame me if it makes your phone explode or die):
- Insert your SIM and a T-Flash card. The phone only recognizes the compatible T-Flash card; anything else might damage your phone.
- Never insert or remove your SIM, T-Flash card, USB cable or battery while the phone is switched on.
- To turn your phone on, hold down the power button for 3 seconds.
Next, key in the PIN code for your phone. The default code of the phone is “1122?.
- If you enter the wrong PIN 3 times then your phone will become locked until you enter the correct PUK code, which you can obtain from your SIM operator.
- To change the phone's language settings, go to Settings, and then Phone Settings. Okay, this one's important, so I'll go into a bit more
detail. To get to the Menu, press the left button. From what I can work out, Settings is the 4th icon down on the left (see the picture). Find the phone icon to get to Phone Settings, and then select Languages (which should be the second option).

Okay, that should be enough to get you started. I'll post some more stuff up as I translate it.
Q&A
how do u put music on the cect???? - Robbie
Hi Robbie,
The manual says:
Supports MP3/MIDI files, files should be saved to the memory card
in a directory called “my music”, otherwise the reader will not
find them.
Use the arrow keys to the various options for the reader, or by using the stylus.
So link it up to your computer and move the files to your phone's memory card, in MP3 or MIDI format. Sorted (I hope).
